The decision to move iPad chipsets to iPhone 13 production appears to be working. Specifically, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max backlogs are not getting any worse. This has positive implications on fourth quarter 2021 upgrade percentages and could also increase switcher activity.
While we will continue to monitor iPhone 13 backlogs, we will not be publishing any additional charts on the iPhone 13 if there is no change from the general availability seen this week.
