The most remarkable story of this iPhone cycle was Verizon’s ability to beat their two competitors to the punch with in-stock iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max prior to Christmas. The cost of that feat remains to be seen but likely will me immaterial. Future “expedite” tactics will likely become the norm should Apple experience a future chronic shortage.
