Better? Maybe. After last week’s report, we were writing off the entire iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max sales season for 2022. After this week’s report, the answer to the question “Can Apple save the 2022 selling season?” is a definitive “maybe.”
T-Mobile is showing increased availability of iPhone 14 Pro, with Deep Purple available today for 128 GB and 256 GB storage options (Gold as well for 256 GB). Deep Purple is also available at the 256 GB storage option at Verizon. Outside of that, it’s pretty much a week-for-week slip for the iPhone 14 Pro.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is also showing some small signs of backlog relief, especially compared to last week’s report. Verizon has Deep Purple in 256 GB and 512 GB available for immediate shipment. Other than that, it’s a week-for-week slip.
AT&T is the outlier. Don’t know if this is an online only thing (meaning that they are stocking stores first, then selling remaining stock online), a business/ consumer thing (meaning that they are fulfilling enterprise/ public safety orders prior to online consumer), or something entirely different. The bottom line is that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are not available until the middle of January if you are interested in purchasing online.
It will be very interesting to see if there is further improvement next week. Stay tuned..
